Toyota and Honda has come a long way and both does extend great features, comparing within its price range. But one must also explore ooutside a confined range. If you top another 5k, you will find the Mazda 6 with features only of those comparable to Europen cars.
As far as safety and hi-tech is concerned, the BMW is leading the pack. Auto headlight for them has passed history when they are now producing HUD and Night Vision. Ofcourse, the price tag gets upgraded as well.

P407 is a good car too, design wise. The overhang is the most impressive. Our express bus drivers will love this car. Apart from copying other European cars, Peugeot need to hire veteran drivers to redesign the handling part. They must heard me when they produced the 304S.

Putting resale value and cost of ownership aside, the P407 has a style of its own, but lost the glamour somewhere.
